Have been feeling a strong pressure to publish. I find myself mumbling things like "publish or perish" and "I just want to be published" over and over and over and over and OVER again. As with the pressure in my bladder after drinking three cups of coffee, I'm sure it'll pass. Maybe. But while it's here, I've been submitting more than just two manuscripts a week. So internal pressure can be good.
Beyond pressures on the bowels or mind, not much is going on. This quarter is overflowing with reading children's literature. So that makes me happy. And writing makes me even happier. So, "you're looking at one happy pigeon right now." (Ten cool points to whoever can name the author and book I'm quoting from there)
Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! Mo Willems.
